  • Foundation (month-to-month) — $12 per service connection per month plus $10 per 1,000 client-side MAU per month.
  • Enterprise and Guardian — custom, quote-only. They add advanced targeting, SAML/SCIM, release automation and more, above the Foundation figure.

This estimate covers Foundation's two main flag charges. It excludes AI runs, observability, experimentation MAU, and negotiated Enterprise terms, so a real bill that uses those products is higher.

Is LaunchDarkly still priced per seat?
No. LaunchDarkly moved off per-seat pricing to a usage-based model. The Foundation plan bills by service connections and client-side monthly active users, so the cost tracks your traffic and architecture rather than your headcount. That is why two teams of the same size can see very different LaunchDarkly bills.
How is this estimate calculated?
The calculator multiplies your service connections and client-side MAU by LaunchDarkly's published Foundation rates for the billing basis you pick, then annualizes. If you use those products your real bill is higher, which only widens the gap against a flat plan.
