Seats are what move a GrowthBook bill, so that is what this estimate models. GrowthBook also meters CDN requests and bandwidth and caps managed-warehouse events, but those allowances are published per plan and sit apart from the seat rate, so they are excluded here rather than guessed at. The estimate also excludes the free self-hosted open-source edition, where the licence costs nothing and you carry the operational work instead. GrowthBook publishes no annual-commit discount, so there is no annual toggle on its side.

Why does my GrowthBook bill grow when my traffic does not?
Because Pro is priced by headcount rather than usage. Every person who needs a login to manage flags or experiments costs another $40 a month, so onboarding four teammates adds $1,920 a year even when your flag count and evaluation volume are unchanged. End users of your app are never counted, and flags, experiments, and traffic stay unlimited on every Cloud plan, so the only number that moves the bill is how many people you hire.
Is GrowthBook cheaper than Featureflip?
At three seats or fewer, yes. Once a fourth person needs a login, the whole team moves to Pro at $40 a seat and the comparison flips quickly. Five seats is $2,400 a year against $468 for Featureflip Pro billed annually, which includes 10 team members. The honest caveat is that you are not buying the same thing: GrowthBook runs a real experiment-analysis engine on your warehouse, and Featureflip does not compute statistical significance. If experiments are central to how you work, GrowthBook earns its price.
How is this estimate calculated?
Seats at or below 3 are free on Starter. From the 4th seat, every seat is multiplied by the published $40 per seat per month and the total is annualised, which is why the 4th person costs $160 a month rather than $40. Above the published 50-user Pro ceiling the estimate stops and reports a quote, because GrowthBook does not publish a rate that far up. It covers Cloud seats only, so CDN request and bandwidth allowances and managed-warehouse event limits are excluded. GrowthBook publishes no annual-commit discount, so there is no billing toggle on its side. Featureflip is a flat price that does not move with seats or evaluations, no matter how many people you add.
